The story starts with The 25th Baam (his companions just call him Baam), who was alone all in a pit, his life has entered the tower to chase after his only friend, Rachel, who abandoned him to ascend The Tower.
My thoughts:
This is an amazing title, with a complete self contained universe and lore. being able to create such a universe, without borrowing off other sources is hard (think of how many other fantasy stories draw off "Lord of the Rings", or How many Scifi Titles draw off "2001: a Space Odyssey"and "Star Trek"). if the Plot section put you off, fear not, it gets better, a LOT better! the only thing I am able to compare it to Ring now is the Naruto series
Of all the material I have read, this one is most deserving of an Anime.
