New year, fresh changes

Hi all, Happy 2019

In the near future you can expect us to clean up the sight, as well as ad new and fresh content to the blog.

First, to address the elephant in the room

We are going to close down the Scanlator Spotlight page. there are several reasons for this: Firstly, many of them are fly by night, and short lived.

Secondly there are soooo many of them. Most of them I didn't realize existed until I went to the manga hosting sites (yes, the same ones I was demonizing a few months back).

Thirdly: there a number of controversies surrounding Trash Scanlations, the result being that it is now offline. we will still, where possible link to each scanlator site with our reviews.

And now for the good news, is that we will be adding new kinds of content, starting with the South African Anime Awards 2018. We also hope to start covering more anime based content in the future.

Lastly, we need help. if there are and great (or terrible) manga and anime that need exposure, send us you recommendations. You might be requested to write the next showcase article as a guest writer (and you will be credited). we can't pay you for your work, unfortunately
